Store Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every order placed through the White Horse Clips online store at whclips.co.za. Work we do under a quotation or statement of work is governed by our Standard Terms of Engagement instead. They are read together with our Cancellation Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, Delivery Policy and Privacy Policy.

Every product is new, is sourced through official South African distribution channels, and carries the full local manufacturer warranty.

02Prices

White Horse Clips (Pty) Ltd is not registered for VAT; no VAT is charged.

The delivery charge is not included in the price. We deliver nationwide, and the delivery cost is calculated at checkout (see the Delivery Policy).

Product images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the product. The name, model number and specification on a product's page describe what you receive.

Prices and stock follow our suppliers' price lists and can change. Price and availability are checked again at the moment you pay, and you are never charged more than the total shown when you confirm payment. If a price on the site is an obvious error, we tell you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund.

03Placing an order

Before you pay you can review your basket, change quantities, remove items, and correct your details. You place an order by completing payment. You must be 18 or older, or have your guardian's consent.

04Payment

Payment is made through PayFast, a registered South African payment service provider. You can pay by credit card (Visa and Mastercard), Instant EFT by PayFast, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay. When you select checkout you are transferred to PayFast's secure payment page.

Card and bank details are entered on PayFast's own pages. They are encrypted in transit, and they never pass through our website or systems and are never stored by us. The details we keep about you (your name, email address, delivery address and order) are stored separately from any payment details.

Our merchant outlet country is the Republic of South Africa. All transactions are in South African Rand (ZAR).

Your order is accepted when PayFast confirms your payment to us. We confirm it to you by email. The order is then a contract between you and White Horse Clips, and we keep a record of it.

05Availability

If a product is unavailable after you have paid, we tell you straight away. You may wait for stock, choose a different item, or cancel for a full refund within 30 days.

06Delivery, cancellation, returns and warranty

We process your personal information as our Privacy Policy describes.

08Risk and ownership

On payment, our Returns and Refund Policy takes effect and ownership passes to you. The goods travel at your risk until they are delivered to you. If you want the delivery insured, you may reply to the order confirmation email before we ship your parcel, and we will quote the extra cost.

09Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss that was not a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach, and our liability for any one order does not exceed the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act.

10Complaints

Email enquiries@whclips.co.za for anything about an order. We work Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (SAST); messages outside those hours are answered the next working day. If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may take it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission.

11Responsibility and where we sell

White Horse Clips takes responsibility for all aspects of your order, including the sale of the goods, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery. Our online store is available to South African customers only.

12General

  • These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
  • We choose 214 Caperbush Street, Hartbeespoort, 0216, North West, South Africa as our address for notices and legal process (our domicilium citandi et executandi).
  • If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
  • We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
  • Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
